THE TWO LAWS CONTRASTED.
THE TEN COMMANDMENTS/LAW OF GOD THE SACRIFICIAL OR LAW OF MOSES.
1. Was spoken by God- Deut.4:12,13. 1. Was spoken by Moses.- Deut.1:1-6.
2. Was written by God on tables of stone.-Ex 24:12 2.Was written by MOses in a book.- Deut.31:24
3.Was placed in the Ark.Deut.10:5 3.Was placed in the side of the Ark. Deut. 31:26
4.Was right & good. Neh.9:13 4.Was not good. Ezek.20:25.
5.Was a law which man shall line in. Ezek.20:11,13 5.Was a law not to live by. Ezek 20:25.
6.Is a perfect law. Ps. 19:7 6.Made nothing perfect. Heb 7:19
7.Christ didn't come to destroy. Matt.5:17 7.He abolished it. Eph. 22:15.
8.He came to magnify it. Isaiah 42:21 8. He took it out of the way at His death. Col.2:14.
9.Not a jot or tittle shall pass. Matt. 5:18 9.Was an added law & passed away. Gal.2:19.
10.We must not break the least. Matt.5:19 10.Christ is the end of this law. Rom.10:4.
11.Is a law of liberty. Jam.2:12 11.Was a yoke of bondage. Gal.5:1
12.Is established through faith in Christ Rom.3:31 12.Was a schoolmaster. Gal.3:24,25.
13.Is spiritual. Rom 7:14. 13.Is the law of carnal commandment. Heb.7:16
14.Is holy and good. Rom.7:12 14.Is enmity & contrary to us. Eph.2:15,Col.2:14
15.Was written by God's finger Exo.31:18 15.Was the handwriting of ordinances Col.2:14.
16.Was proclaimed by God himself.Deut.5:22. 16.Was ordained by angels. Gal.3:19
17.Included in the 3rd angels message Rev.14:12 17.A shadow of good things to come. Heb.10:1
